Originally from Oklahoma, Allex Tarr (she/her) is now an award-winning director based in Los Angeles.

 

Allex recently finished directing her third web series for Brat TV, which included multiple brand integrations as well as full-season narrative arcs. 
 

She also writes and directs branded digital content for production companies like BuzzFeed, Inc. and Coconut Grove Pictures that live across social platforms like Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and Facebook – and which have garnered a combined total of over 250 million views.
 

Some brands Allex has worked with include: Universal Studios, Warner Bros., Netflix, Chase Marriott, Olay, Proctor & Gamble, L'Oreal, Samsung, GEICO, Hyundai, and TRESemmé. 

Allex wrote, directed, and acted in her latest short film – "The Ritz". The film is a period piece based on a true story about her grandmother's trials and tribulations being a woman in Oklahoma in 1950. It was accepted into the Academy Award qualifying LA Shorts International Film Festival, as well as many other festivals around the country.

Currently, Allex is seeking funding to make her feature film debut for an original script called "Exit Strategy".
